I’ve been at the wellness business for most of my adult life in one way or another but officially as Green Plate Kate for the last few years, it’s my passion and my calling. Check out my my philosophy on nutrition, health and dieting here.
So back to this whole weight loss/inner struggle thing–
As I said, for so long I thought it had to be one or the other!
I was either nurturing my personal/spiritual development like it was a full time job while neglecting what I needed from my diet/exercise/self-care regimen, OR I was absolutely laser-focused on diet and exercise to the point that I wasn’t giving a second thought to any personal or spiritual growth.
Both of which left me unbalanced, unhappy and frankly unhealthy. No Bueno.
My friends, we need all of this! As living breathing, loving, feeling human beings, if we want to be successful in one area of our life we must nurture and have balance in all the others. This takes a concerted effort–dare I say some committed work, which isn’t always easy, but it’s always worth it. And this is where an experienced coach comes in to guide and support you.
You are not bad or selfish if you care about your physical body and appearance– whether you need to lose 50 pounds for your health or 10 pounds to fit in the clothes that you feel better in. And in the same vein, you can be the most zen person you know but if you can’t walk up a flight of stairs or button your pants, well you and I both know that needs some work too. You can have both, you deserve to have both! I can help you.
After YEARS of big wins and big struggles in these areas of my life I have finally found a pretty nice balance that works for me, my body & my life– and now I can share that wisdom with you.
